The z710i is a Mobile Walkman phone similar to many other Walkman phones found in Sony Ericsson's stable of mobile devices. The z710i is an Ericsson cell phone targeted at the business user. This phone is not as aesthetically pleasing as some other Sony Ericsson Walkman phones, but it gets the job done. Featuring an easy to use user interface, this phone can be picked up and used by just about anyone within minutes. Using a clamshell, or flip, form factor, the phone is very similar to others you may have seen or used as far as looks go. You can get this Ericsson phone in Twilight Black or Metallic Sand (gold) and it uses the standard front panel LCD for display time and caller information. The phone supports the M2 flash card, a tiny flash card capable of storing impressive amounts of data. The 2 megapixel camera features 2.5 x zoom for capturing important moments. This is a Walkman phone, so naturally it plays MP3, AAC, MPEG4 and 3GP formats in the media player. You can take still shots of any video you are viewing on the phone by pressing the camera button, a very interesting feature. Finally, bluetooth is supported, so wireless accessories can be accessed quickly and easily. Some customers have reported a flaw in the software that disables call logging, however performing a master reset will revert the phone back to factory settings. This will cause you to loose all information not saved to a flash card found on the phone.
