W800 Sony Ericsson Phone

The Sony Ericsson w800 Walkman is the first Ericsson cell phone to use Walkman technology to provide a superior music and communications device. It is also one of the first phone to feature flight mode, allowing you to silence all incoming and outgoing signals so that you may listen to music and perform other actions while you are in an area where cell phone use is prohibited (such as a plane). The Walkman brand shows that you will have access to a full MP3 player, with easy file management via an infra-red USB device that lets you add new songs and content to the 512 Memory stick duo pro. Memory can be expanded by purchasing additional Memory Stick Pro Duo cards. The phone's MP3 player functionality can be accessed using the 3.5mm headphone jack, so just about any headphones or earbuds that you own will work with the device, just like any other MP3 player. The phone is nice and small, at only 3.9 x 1.8 x 0.8 inches, and only 99g. This means it will fit in your pocket easily, and it won't weigh you down at all on the go. HSCSD connectivity allows you to browse the web and access a full range of email options. Last but certainly not least is the fact that this device is also a phone, so all the messaging you would come to expect is there, such as SMS text messaging. For a first effort, the w800 is a solid media phone from Sony Ericsson.
