Sony Ericsson has always been good at developing phones for those who lead an active, sporty, lifestyle. The w710i is a great example of that. Featuring a fun and interesting look, the phone can be purchased in white and orange, among other bright colors. The w710i is a Walkman phone, which means that it has a fully functioning media player, capable of playing MP3 music and MP4 video files. The phone is clearly designed with the fitness conscious user in mind. Featuring a pedometer that measures speed and distance, and can be viewed easily while jogging or exercising. The step counter counts your steps all day long, and resets at midnight so that you can check your progress for each day. Along side the Walkman media player, there is quick and easy access to an FM radio via an external button there for quick access. The phone supports an M2 Flash card, which could fit on your fingernail, so you can store tons of music and movies in your pocket. The phone even has a 2.0 megapixel built-in camera with 2.5 zoom and video capture. You can then easily share your photos with Sony Ericsson's QuickShare solution. Audio plays on both an internal speaker and a headset. Mascot's Capsule 3D engine allows for full 3D gaming, and other application support includes ringers, wallpapers, and graphic downloads. The Ericsson cell phone accesses the internet through the EDGE network, which is slightly controversial as it is not the most reliable wireless network out there.
