
Sony Ericsson sports a whole lineup of Walkman music phones designed for the music enthusiast on the go. The w300i is another such Ericsson cell phone, Complete with supprt for MP3s and AAC music files and the full power of an Ericsson phone. The battery can run for 30 hours of music play, so you won't be without entertainment on a long car ride or plane trip. You can play music easily with the dedicated buttons for playing, pausing and shuffling your favorite tracks, and a built-in FM radio allows you to listen to the radio when you get tired of the tracks you have stored on the phone it's self. Flight mode allows you to use the MP3 player and other functions safely while on planes, in hospitals, or other areas that restrict cell phone use. Direct 2 Disc capability allows you to pull tracks right from your PC and audio disks and transfer them to your phone. This means that you always have fresh tracks to listen to on the go. Using the VGA camera you can snap a photo or two when you don't have a camera available, full MMS capabilities allow you to instantly send these pics to your friends, so you can keep them updated on your location and activities. Finally, the phone has basic functions like a calender, phonebook, to-do list and calculator. The phone does lack GPS and Wi-Fi capabilities, and has to access AT&T's Edge wireless network, which is not always the most reliable networks.
