The j300a is an attractive looking phone from Sony Ericsson. Ericsson cell phones are very intuitive, and the j300a is no exception. It is a block design, meaning that the screen is on the top of the device and the keypad is underneath said screen, with no flipping or swiveling necessary to access all of the phone's features. It is a fairly standard phone features wise. It has full call support, including speaker phone for fully hands free communication. It also supports simple functions like a clock, stopwatch, and timer. Other features include a calendar, calculator and to-do list. One criticism of the phone is it's lack of camera, something that is almost essential on a phone these days. The joystick navigation may also be a problem for some people, as it is somewhat small and touchy, so you will need to adjust to using it instead of a button set. Aesthetically the phone is pleasing, featuring several color choices and interchangeable faceplates. These faceplates let you add a personal, unique flair to the device. Audio quality is exceptional for such a low priced phone (compared to other Sony Ericsson models) so call quality should be of no concern.
